Loop Pile — Berber & Level Loop

Accurate, Written Estimate — No Hidden Charges

Subfloor Preparation & Tack Strip Installation
Tack strips are nailed or glued around the room perimeter at the correct distance from the wall for clean tucking. Carpet cushion (pad) selection depends on the carpet style and the room's use. For residential cut-pile carpet, a 7/16-inch, 6-lb rebond cushion is a widely recommended standard that provides comfort underfoot and extends carpet life by reducing fiber stress. Commercial broadloom often uses a denser, thinner pad (or is glued directly to the subfloor) to maintain stability under rolling loads and to keep seams flat. CSI's consultants recommend the correct cushion specification for your product during the estimate process.
Vacuum broadloom carpet at least once a week — more frequently in high-traffic areas — using a quality upright with a rotating brush roll. Address spills immediately by blotting (never rubbing) from the outside in.
